At some point patching costs more than replacing. If a house has had three slab leaks in two years, or the original galvanized is rusting closed, replacing the system is cheaper over five years than chasing the next failure. A repipe is also the moment to fix the flow problems the old pipe caused: corroded galvanized narrows until pressure drops when two fixtures run, and new correctly-sized lines bring it back. We repipe whole homes for a fixed price on a set schedule. We keep the wall and ceiling openings small and leave them clean and access-ready, then point you to a drywall crew we trust to close them up. The patch, texture and paint are a separate trade, not part of the plumbing price.

Repiping questions
How long does a whole-house repipe take?
Most single-story homes are complete in two to three days of plumbing work, plus patching. You keep running water overnight throughout.
Should I choose PEX or copper?
PEX handles our water chemistry well, installs with fewer fittings and costs less. Copper has a longer track record and some buyers prefer it at resale. We price both and go through the tradeoff for your house.
What does a repipe cost?
Typically $16,000 to $20,000 for a full home, depending on size, fixture count, and access. Smaller partial repipes cost considerably less.
Will a repipe fix my low water pressure?
If the pressure loss is coming from the pipe — and in older galvanized homes it usually is — then yes. Decades of corrosion narrow the inside of the line until two fixtures cannot run at once, and new PEX or copper sized to the house restores full flow. If the restriction is really at the meter or the pressure regulator, we will tell you that instead of selling you a repipe you do not need.
Do you patch the drywall after a repipe?
We keep the cuts small and leave them clean and access-ready, but the patch, texture and paint are a separate trade. We hand you off to a drywall crew we trust so the finish is done right; it is not priced into the plumbing.
