Should I repair or replace my water heater?
Under 8 years old with a failed component, repair almost always makes more sense. Over 10 years, or leaking from the tank body, replacement is the only option, because a tank leak cannot be repaired.
How long does a water heater last?
Eight to twelve years for a standard tank in our water conditions. Annual flushing pushes it toward the top of that range.
Can you replace it the same day?
In most cases, yes. We stock common residential sizes and can usually diagnose and replace in a single visit.
